U is the circumference of the wheel that drives the counter. You can use the circumference formula of a circle to calculate: 2 * π * wheel radius, in centimeters.

X=the number of square turns that drive the counter to rotate 10 times. To calculate the number of revolutions, mark the cable on one side and turn the wheel 10 turns.

If k=1, a k=1.0 counter or an adjustable counter (such as a digital counter) is required.

If k=1.4, a counter k=1.4 is required.
