This throttle grip retaining ring is designed for custom preparations on Harley-Davidson equipped with the engine Milwaukee-Eight M8 with electronic throttle grip, also called Throttle-by-Wire or TBW.
It allows the accelerator grip to be correctly maintained when the original elements on the handlebars are removed or replaced, in particular the original commodos, the master cylinders, the levers or handlebar controls.
On certain Harley-Davidson M8s equipped with a Throttle-by-Wire electronic throttle grip, grip retention depends on the original control assembly. When replacing original switches, master cylinders or levers with aftermarket components, the handle may no longer be properly held.
This ring solves this problem by ensuring a clean, compact and aesthetic hold of the accelerator handle on the handlebars.
