    The definition 

    The definition of BRAT STYLE is similar to that of bobber, The motorcycle is reduced to the essentials, but with a different and less extreme style. The biggest difference with a standard motorcycle is that a motorcycle Brastyle has a handlebar higher and (most often) a flat saddle.

     

    The origin

    The name "Bratstyle" or "Brat style" comes from a personalized motorcycle store called BRAT STYLE. Their tailor -made construction style has been reproduced worldwide and they called them motorcycles "Brastyle", Just like a brand name.

    The store, run by the veteran trainer Takamine in a suburbs of Tokyo, gained popularity by building small personalized, light and inexpensive city motorcycles, at a time when fashion was rather extravagance.

    Characteristics

    Suspensions

    Exhaust

    The colour

    What base for a brastyle? 


    Yamaha SR400 / SR500

    This model is a good basis for building a stronghold. It is a very affordable motorcycle with simple mechanics. An SR400 or 500 is the ideal base for an A2 license.

    Harley Sportster

    Bravo pour cet excellent article d’introduction au Bratstyle. J’ai en projet une préparation bratstyle sur base Moto Guzzi V65 et je vais m’inspirer de l’étude dedessins photoshop intitulée “variations sur base V65” realisee par Barbara Custom Motocycle. Tout les codes Brat que vous avez décrit y sont. À bientôt, je n’hésiterai pas à vous faire parvenir des photos du projet dont le début est prévu cet été ;-)
