Lambda probe decoy Triumph 400 – Anti-ECU error code

Eliminate oxygen related lights after removing or disabling the O2 sensor

Designed specifically for the Triumph 400 platform, this lambda probe decoy allows you to suppress the appearance of O2 error codes when the original probe has been replaced, disconnected or neutralized. Thanks to OEM-type connectors and appropriate calibration, it sends a stable signal to the engine computer, preventing the engine light from coming on unexpectedly and switching to degraded mode.

The pose is plug & play : You disconnect the original probe plug and simply insert the emulation box instead. No wiring to cut, no maps to load. The assembly is fully reversible, convenient to return to the original configuration if necessary.

Important: If a code is already stored in the ECU, it must be deleted before so that the emulation box can function correctly. Also respect the usage restrictions indicated below to ensure the compatibility and durability of your set.

    Compatibility:

    • Triumph Speed 400

    • Triumph Scrambler 400X

    • Triumph Thruxton 400

    • Triumph Tracker 400

    Technical specifications:

    • 🛠 Type: Lambda (O2) sensor emulation/decoy box

    • 🔌 Connection: Plug & play on the original probe socket (without cutting)

    • 📦 Format: Compact, fits easily under the tank or behind the fairings

    • 💧 Protection: Waterproof connectors, insulating sheaths for good splash resistance

    • ⚙️ ECU Compatibility: Designed to prevent the occurrence of DTCs related to the absence of an O2 signal

    • 🔁 Reversibility: Simple disassembly to return to the original configuration

    • 🧩 Variants: Versions A/B/C/D available depending on your assembly (short line/collector or original front section)

    • 📋 Notice: Prior check of fault codes and erasure using recommended diagnostic tool

    • ⚠️ Restriction: Do not use with another brand of exhaust. Any malfunction linked to improper use is not covered by the warranty.

    Advantages compared to the origin:

✔ Prevents the engine light from coming on after removing or neutralizing the O2 sensor
✔ Prevents switching to degraded mode and injection disturbances
✔ Quick installation without ECU reprogramming or harness modification
✔ Stable simulated signal for more enjoyable driving
✔ Reversible assembly for a return to the origin in a few minutes
✔ Design designed for the Triumph 400 platform

    Why improve the original part?

When the original lambda sensor is removed or deactivated, the ECU no longer receives the expected signal. It then generates a fault code, turns on the warning light and can alter injection management (approximate richness, unstable idling, feeling of jerks). Driving comfort is reduced, and repeated interventions to clear the code become restrictive.

    • Engine light on and persistent O2 codes

    • Risk of degraded mode and loss of flexibility

    • Irregular slow motion and less clear restarts

    • Unnecessary complexity if you switch between configurations

The lambda probe decoy solves these problems by simulating a coherent signal to the ECU. Result: no DTC linked to oxygen, no indicator light, and engine management which remains fluid when the sensor is absent or neutralized. This is a simple, clean, reversible solution ideal for specific setups and temporary adjustments.

    Ideal use:

    • Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X owners wishing to remove or neutralize the O2 sensor

    • Road, urban, scrambler or tracker oriented preparations requiring the absence of the lambda probe

    • Users who want to avoid fault codes and maintain regular driving

    • Mechanics and workshops looking for a quick, plug & play and reversible solution

Important note: Before installation, clear any error codes already stored in the ECU. Strictly respect the usage restriction: do not use with an exhaust from another brand. In the event of non-compliance, any malfunction will not be covered by the warranty.
