    Transform your BMW R nineT into a real adventure machine thanks to this adaptation kit designed to accommodate type suspensions Adventure. This solution exploits the availability of suspension assemblies from 790/890 Adventure and Norden 901 platforms in order to offer a significant gain in travel, ground clearance and versatility, without requiring major modifications to the motorcycle. The objective: to improve behavior in off-road and demanding paths while maintaining reliability and everyday ergonomics.

    Once installed, this kit allows you to obtain a front travel from 175 to 240 mm (depending on the fork version used) and a 55mm rear travel. The saddle height adjusts between 875 and 900 mm, ideal for off-road enthusiasts and riders over 1.80 m tall. Everything is sized for a mass close to that of the R nineT, ensuring balance and robustness in intensive use.

    The front set includes machined and ready-to-mount elements for easy integration, and the rear set receives an adjustable baseplate designed to adapt to different generations of R nineT. You benefit from consistent assembly, compatible braking and preserved ABS management when you keep your original wheel dimensions.

    The original R nineT shines on the road but shows its limits as soon as you look for a deflection and one ground clearance worthy of a sustained off-road adventure. Stock suspensions, which are more road-oriented, reduce efficiency in sequences of bumps, ruts and fast tracks. This results in increased fatigue and less constant traction off asphalt.

    Important content and prerequisites:

    • Front kit: pre-assembled triples (bearing base + dust cover), titanium front axle, zinc-nickel-plated ABS crown, custom-made hoses. You must obtain a ADV fork compatible (S/R versions of 790/890 Adventure or Norden 901 platforms) and radial calipers 100 mm with 30 mm offset. A high mudguard is required, attached to the headlight/fairing nose bracket.

    • Rear kit: adjustable base + ball joint bushings. Provide a original rear shock absorber 790/890 Adventure (standard or S versions). The R version is not suitable for the R nineT due to the location of its gas tank. Note that the ring dimensions differ between the R nineTs cable accelerator (EU4 2014–2020) and to electronic accelerator (EU5 2021–2024) : choose the appropriate variant when ordering.

    ABS and electronic compatibility: if you keep your wheel dimensions original, none reparameterization is not necessary. When changing diameter (larger or smaller), a specific program is usually required to avoid system errors.
