These engine protection bars for BMW R12 (all variants) adopt a redesigned architecture to better dissipate efforts, particularly during frontal impacts. The design directs the load towards high strength fixing points of the frame, instead of relying on simple plates that can deform prematurely.
Made in 304 stainless steel with a 28mm diameter tube and 2mm thick, these crash bars benefit from a multi-step surface treatment (phosphating, electrophoresis, powder painting) for durable corrosion resistance. At the interface with the frame, a nylon sleeve protects the paint and reduces daily vibrations.
Each side is equipped with a machined aluminum slider with precise finishing. In the event of a fall while stationary or a slight slip, simply replace the slider, without having to change the whole thing. The assembly uses exclusively the points of origin, avoiding the removal of important engine bolts: you can install the whole in your garage with complete peace of mind.
