Regardless of the displacement or the model you choose, a scrambler motorcycle is made for the adventure, that's thescrambled spirit.
Once the project is defined, we are looking for a base that can suit our project and our budget.
The base can be the same model as one of our inspirations or a different model, whatever.
When you plan to carry out a scrambler motorcycle project, the first step is to find the base that will serve as a starting point. These bases are generally classified into several categories:
Classic scrambler bases : Triumph offers models with high suspensions, but it is also possible to make a scrambler on a Bonneville base or a Street Twin. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is also a popular option, just like the BMW R series, the Moto Guzzi, the Yamaha SR, and the Kawasaki W650.
Trail / Enduro bases : These motorcycles offer simple and effective mechanics, with motors often large monocylinders. The Suzuki DR 650/800, the Honda NX Dominator, and the Yamaha XT 600 are current choices in this category.
Roadsters bases : These motorcycles are increasingly used for the creation of scramblers because of their efficient engines and their modern design. Models such as the Honda 600 Hornet, the Yamaha Fazer FZS600, and the Suzuki Bandit/Inazuma are often chosen.

Once you have defined your scrambler motorcycle project and you have the motorcycle, it's time to look at the pieces to be changed and the specific parts to the scrambler to acquire to transform your motorcycle into a superb scrambler.
The severity of the modifications will depend on the base on which you have founded your project, up to significant changes such as chassis modification, replacement of the front and rear wheels, improving engine performance, the use of rims with rays and changes in the suspension.
The Scrambler saddle : The essential element here is comfort. The stools are often flat, with a minimum height of 7 cm and quite long. Regarding color, they are generally brown or black, but you can be more original depending on the theme of your preparation.
Scrambler mudguards : They settle in high position as on motocross, offering pilot protection while avoiding the problems of mud or trashy terrain.
Scrambler tires : They will largely contribute to the style and behavior of your machine. The rays and alloy rims are preferred, and a combination 17 at the rear and 19 at the front is often ideal.
The Scrambler handlebars : A wide handlebar like motocross is ideal, with possibly a central bar for a retro appearance.
The Scrambler Light : A round lighthouse decorated with a protective grid completes the adventurous look of the motorcycle and protects the lighthouse projections.
The Scrambler loop : It improves the aesthetic appearance of the back of the scrambler and can be raised to break the tank-selle line.
Scrambler exhaust : A high exhaust is privileged to avoid damage during all-terrain and participate in the scrambler style of the motorcycle.
Scrambler suspensions : Improved suspensions can increase the height of the motorcycle and improve its off -road performance.
The scrambler shoe : Installed under the engine, it protects the front from it from damage when crossing or stones.
Scrambler fork bellows : They protect the fork from external impurities and participate in the scrambler look of the motorcycle.
In addition to these specific elements to the scrambler, other pieces can be changed such as the counter, the handles, the mirrors, the commodos and the indicators to complete the transformation of your motorcycle.
For more details, we made An article on the subject.
We will not talk about the Ducati Scrambler and the other motorcycles out of concession with the appellation scramble scramble. We have devoted an article on this subject.
There SR400 of Croooked Motorcycle
We like the aspect minimalist From this preparation, the rear runs with the suede saddle, the LED lights perfectly integrated into the loop or the handlebars.
In the same spirit, there is theAuto Fabrica Type 20 on the basis of Triumph :
We like the mixture of black between matt black, shiny black and satin black.
Like the preparation of Croooked, this Triumph is sober, elegant and has a lot of charm. In addition, this thick saddle makes us want to take its handlebars to chain the kilometers.
Here is another Triumph, built by the Lyonnais of BAAK MOTOCYCLETTES :
This is one of the last achievements of Baak. We recognize their style in the choice of pieces and this choice of color which is very successful.
The marriage of this light blue and the brown will delight him.
And to finish with a more unusual preparation, here is a Harley XL1200 N prepared by Thai people of K-spat.
They offer us a scramble scramble very worked on a basis of Harley. Many changes have made this result.
We like the new tank accompanied by this typically Moto Scrambler saddle. We appreciate this exhaust outlet with the 2 large silencers.
Nice work in the saddle and the rear loop, which we see all the more when we see the shape of the original frame.
To my taste, it only lacks a front fender. Indeed, I find this part a little empty.
And you, what is your favorite scrambler motorcycle? Say it we comment and we will add it to this article.

Bonjour LUKALBAN,
Malheureusement ce modèle n’est pas facile à travailler pour faire un scrambler. Ce modèle convient mieux pour un café racer.
