March 14, 2021

La Honda Transalp 600 Cafe Racer / Bratcafe d'Esteban

Motorcycle brand: HONDA

Motorcycle model: TRANSALP 600

Motorcycle year: 1996

Tell us your story with this preparation (Why this style? Why this model? ...)

I am 20 years old, I started motorcycling at 19. My father owned a 1996 Transalp 600, he ended up giving it to me. I wanted a motorcycle with a cafe racer style, the problem, I had no money. So I said to myself, since I don't have any money, instead of buying one, I'm going to build one with what I have. This is the story that gave birth to this project. So I end up with my cafe racer for less than 2000 euros and it's quite funny to see people's faces when they ask me what bike it is and I tell them it's a Honda Transalp. I gave it a facelift, it's cool PS: it's my very first motorcycle project, of course it's far from perfect. You have to make mistakes to learn.

Here is a photo of the original model:

Laid bare:

What modifications have you made to your motorcycle?

Here is the end result:

A little word from Remmotorcycle:

Congratulations Esteban for this project!

Realizing a cafe racer / bratcafé on a Transalp is an original project and the result is successful! The dimensions and shapes are harmonious and the marriage of the green tank and the camel saddle is on top!

Bonjour, très chouette résultat pour cette transalp, par pur hasard possédez vous encore quelque pièce de carrosserie orignaux ?
Par exemple tête de fourche, “carénage frontale”
