And here is a Husqvarna 250cc 2 times from 1970.
We find the specific elements of the other two motorcycles on this Husqvarna.
Now that we have seen several examples of motocross from the 70s, we will see in detail important elements of these motorcycles which are taken up by the preparers in the realization of their Scrambler Vintage motocross sauce.
As seen on the previous models, the loop is longer than the saddle. The number one role of the loop is to Support the imposing the rear mudguard.
The loop is more or less straight or inclined depending on the model.
As this SR500, the loop ends after the saddle. The distance between the saddle and the loop can be 5 to 20 cm depending on the models, tastes and preparations.
As this pretty TW125 During preparation, the vintage scrambler cross mounted guards are large and are often in raw metal.
The saddle is very thick with dense foam to absorb shocks due with jumps. The making is very simple with few seams which gives a fairly uniform whole.
The saddle of this SR400 is almost as high as the tank. It has a simple seam on the back.
For color, most motocross have a black saddle.
However, with regard to a preparation, it is possible to be more original.
The handlebars are close to the handlebars scramble Usual, because it is inspired by the same base.
However, the handlebars of Vintage motocross is more imposing. The central reinforcement bar can be rounded for a more pronounced style.
Depending on the base chosen for the preparation, the reservoir original can be preserved.
Otherwise, it is better to replace it with a model with older drawing.
On this SR500, the original tank has been preserved. But it could have been replaced for a more vintage model atypical.
To finish the resemblance to motocross from the 70s, side plates with number can be added.
On this CG125, the plates were placed at the back as on certain motocross of the time.
They can also be placed on the sides, at the level of the air filter, under the saddle, to fill the void.
