In the category of scramblers, several variants exist.
Among the trends, the scrambled variant Vintage motocross is more and more visible. The latter takes up the codes of Classic scramblers, but with a choice of parts accurate and elements distinctive.
Indeed, this type of scrambler is inspired Motocross from the 70s.

They can also be placed on the sides, at the level of the air filter, under the saddle, to fill the void.

Kawasaki W800
A very big job was done on this motorcycle.
As a reminder, the original motorcycle looks like this:
The fork, the rims, the swinging arm, the tank, the saddle, the loop, the shock absorbers .... everything has been changed and reviewed in order to have a style of vintage motocross. And with 400 hours of work, Mário Raphael Soares, Chaves preparer in Portugal succeeded in his project. The project was carried out with Kawasaki France.
Note that the legal elements is missing to make this civilized motorcycle.

Heiwa’s Suzuki ST250 Scrambler
This Suzuki is at the crossroads between a Classic scrambler and a Vintage cross version.
Indeed, this preparation has all the distinctive elements of the 70's motocross, but in a less version extreme.
There saddle is closer to a saddle classic to scrambler than a bowl of vintage cross. It is finer and more worked in terms of seams. It is the same for the handlebars.
Concerning the front fender, this has the aesthetic codes of the cross, but is placed in a low position, along the tire.

R100 Dust Motorcycles
This R100 has all the characteristics of a vintage cross scrambler. It is both a vintage motocross and a civilized and legal motorcycle to roll on the road.
Dust Motorcycles really managed to create an R series BMW original. And this is not easy to do given the number of preparations already made on this model.

Dust Motorcycles produced several motorcycles of this type such as the R80 Desert Sled:
XL500 DEUS Tokyo
This model is more inspired by Motocross from the 80s that models of the 70s. It is essentially noted by the use of plastic instead of metal for bodywork elements as well as very imposing side plates.
However, she has the DNA of Vintage Cross Scrablers.
Note however that this model is not "road legal". There is no headlight, license plate support and other legal obligations.

As previous examples have shown, there are no basics specific to this variant of scramble.
The bases used are therefore the same as scramblers.

To go with aluminum mudguards, the aluminum round plate is ideal.
This model can be personalized. The numbers can be added.
Regarding other parts used, fires are generally with bulb and old style. LED lights will be avoided for these preparations. A small round headlight at the front, a rear light Old School will be ideally combined.
For exhaust, a high passage model with a scrambler or classic output is perfect.
For the counter, a small simple needle counter perfectly goes with this style.
Regarding tires, we take up the all-terrain models chosen to scramble the basic.
We have seen together the particularities of this variant of Vintage motocross scrambler.
Important differences are in saddle level, the position of the loop, of the wardrobe used and handlebar.
